Stanley Nelson is an award-winning American filmmaker. His titles include Sweet Honey in the Rock: Raise your Voice (05) and Freedom Riders (11), both official selections of Miami Film Festival. The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution (15), premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, as well as his latest feature documentary, Miles Davis: Birth of the Cool.
