Rubén Mendoza is a Colombian filmmaker. His first directorial efforts were the short movies “La cerca” (2004), “La casa por la ventana” (2010), “El reino animal” (2010), and “El corazón de la Mancha” (2010). His debut feature, The Stoplight Society (2010), was a big international success. He has also directed Dust on the Tongue (2014), El valle sin sombras (2015), and Señorita María, la falda de la montaña (2017). His newest film, Wandering Girl (2018), world premiered at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, where it won the Grand Prize for Best Film.
