Rey Baumel is a legendary musician and film & TV actor. Originally from Coney Island, NY, he moved down to Miami Beach at 13 years old and instantly fell in love with the sounds, the rhythm, and the beat of the city. He has remained loyal to Miami ever since, serving both as a history maker and a historian in regards to Miami’s cultural legacy. He was the former President of the Screen Actors Guild in Florida and has appeared in projects such as Tony Rome (1967), Lady in Cement (1968), and Goodbye Columbus (1969).
