Ivete Lucas is a filmmaker from Brazil who is currently based in South Florida, where she makes films with her partner Patrick Bresnan, a visual artist and filmmaker who holds a Master’s Degree in Sustainability from the University of Texas at Austin. Their short films include “The Send-Off” (2016), “The Rabbit Hunt” (2017), “Roadside Attraction” (2017), an official selection of Miami Film Festival, and “Skip Day” (2018), winner Best Short Film at the prestigious 2018 Director’s Fortnight in Cannes. Pahokee (2019), their first feature-length documentary, world premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
