Chad Tingle is a New Yorker by way of Jamaica. Brought up in two locales that are polar opposites, Chad’s point of view is shaped by the best that these places have to offer. After receiving a B.S. in Communications from the University of Miami, Chad started his career as a director on several documentaries that explore social and cultural issues relative to Miami, such as race-based gentrification, the African-American custom of women wearing hats to church services on Sundays and Miami’s soul music scene in the mid to late 60s. His films have been invited to screen at South By Southwest, Aspen Shorts Fest, Miami Film Festival, Maryland Film Festival, Cleveland Film Festival and Cinequest. In the past two years Chad has transitioned into commercial directing and has quickly developed a body of work that includes spots for Anthem’ s Simply Healthcare in both general and Hispanic markets, lifestyle campaigns for Resorts World Bimini in the Bahamas and healthcare work for Broward Health Systems.
